Lakshmi showcases a collection of eco-printed, handwoven saris by Vriksh, in Odisha. Eco-printing is an unique, natural-dye art form from Australia, where a variety of leaves, flowers, and twigs are used for contact printing on fabrics, drawing pigments from the same plants to create interesting, and often surprising natural prints. This stunning, soapstone pink, Tussar sari is printed with a pattern of layered prints, made up of an array of leaf silhouettes, set against a watercolour-like background. The lovely pink-beige palette of the sari consisting of blush, dusky pink,  pepper berry pink, watermelon pink, taupe, and peat brown is complimented by the well-defined, gold-printed, leaves in the foreground and the chocolate brown, satin selvedge. This sari is accompanied by a eco-printed tussar blouse in  watermelon and blush pink, to match.
