Lakshmi showcases handwoven saris by Vriksh, from Odisha. This elegant Dongaria sari in a shot-hue of deep mauve, is adorned with chilli red and golden yellow buttas, and woven, geometric borders of parrot green, lemon yellow, berry red, and grape purple. The pallu is a marriage of chilli red, carmine and fiery orange, accentuated by stripes of lemon yellow and off-white. The sumptuous colour of this sari is accentuated by the lustrous gold sheen, characteristic of tussar silk. Thisÿcrisp, almost weightless sari flows gracefully over the form of the body, and is accompanied by a deep mauve blouse, to match the sari.
