Eco-printing is an unique, natural-dye art form from Australia, where a variety of leaves, flowers, and twigs are used for contact printing on fabrics, drawing pigments from the same plants to create interesting, and often surprising natural prints. This stunning, hand-dyed sari has a fig pink, taupe, and ecru pallu, that is printed with a pattern of leaf prints in gold, set against a watercolour-like background and golden-beige thread work. The tie-dyed body of fig pink and ecru matches the tussar silk.
